I forget which president it was, was caught by police, I believe in NYC, having sex with an underage girl.... (no not Clinton, though I have little doubt he probably was doing such things as well) and of course it was all covered up... I want to say this was LBJ, but I think it was someone earlier.

You might be thinking of then-Senator Harding, to whom that incident did happen. (The girl in question was actually twenty, but the cops didn't know that at first, and thus had to be convinced.)

What got the cops off the trail, though, was to pick up Harding's hat, see his name on the band, and then pull a stormtrooper move ("This is not the Senator we're looking for, and we don't need to see anyone's identification").
