Well, somebody has to control those silly farmers from putting so much of that expensive nitrogen on their crops. They might grow too much. /s
I doubt very many are putting on more fertilizer than they need. The price alone is enough to gag a maggot. I put on exactly none this year.
What will they do about all that nitrogen in the atmosphere? Tons and tons of the stuff.
Meanwhile, a little tub of Land-o-Lakes canola oil with butter has gone to $4. No sale. The stuff has become oil with butter instead of butter with oil anyway. Stick butter is cheaper. Just put it in a container and leave it on the counter, it will be plenty soft and tastes better.
I’m singling this one out. Prove to Land-o-Lakes that they have gone too far. How much can one tub of oil really cost to produce?
What is more, dairy products are heavily subsidized. There are like 4 billion pounds of cheese in cool storage up by Springfield, Missouri in gooberment control.
And I just quit eating dairy, again...
