It made holes on the bridge and that obstructs vehicular traffic. HIMARS is not designed to drop spans like that. And maybe the Ukes want to preserve it for future use as bridges are expensive.

But did you see the pattern of hits on the structure? Remarkable accuracy!

The bridge is already being repaired by the Russians.The hit was accurate, but the bridge was still usable. Saw a video of Patrick Lancaster on the bridge. There is also a rail bridge in that area.

Holes are much easier to patch than it is to repair/rebuild a downed span.
