Deliveries of aviation industry goods to Russia will be allowed to the extent necessary to ensure the safety standards of ICAO, the international civil aviation organization. Against the backdrop of reports of this, Aeroflot shares on the Moscow Exchange rose by 5%.

In addition to goods for the aviation industry, the EU will make exceptions for transactions with agricultural products, oil transportation and the purchase of medical equipment and medicines from Russia to third countries.

The EU has also pledged to ease access to justice and to ease the ban on any dealings with Russian government entities.

As part of the seventh package of sanctions, an embargo on Russian gold will be introduced. The restrictions will affect the sale of jewelry. The ban will apply to deliveries to third countries. The EU will also increase controls on dual-use goods and advanced technologies and expand sanctions against individuals and entities.

It is very sensible given the amount of parts made by Russian Avisma for Boeing and Airbus. Boeing pretends it has the alternative contractors (probably lies), AB certainly have none.

Watching NATO begin to “walk it back.” You could see this coming from a mile away.

They should “ease the access to justice”.... There are a lot of Russians that need to be brought to justice.

Trump warned Germany about reliance on Russian natural gas. The German leadership laughed at him. The Germans went heavily into so called green energy, closing coal burning power plants. They didn't even have the sense of France, which invested heavily in nuclear power.

But we should not be too harsh on Germany. As the Russian Ukrainian War proves, large scale land war is not obsolete. With deindustrialization, can we be the "arsenal of democracy" we were in the two World Wars? It is doubtful. China can sustain a long war with its huge industrial base. The U.S. and NATO are keeping the Ukrainians fighting by providing massive gifts to that country. If Russia attacks a NATO ally, or, more alarmingly, China invades Taiwan or combines with the North Koreans to invade South Korea, can we sustain a long war?

The same goes for Americans as we have more than enough crooks within our administration and then some.
