Respectfully to DeSantis, please consider the following.
Congress has the express constitutional power to not only run the country by overriding presidential vetoes, but alleged election-stealing Democratic mock impeachments of Trump aside, also to impeach and remove presidents from office. (Organized crime, front-ending itself with likewise corrupt, constitutionally undefined political parties, have split the Senate, effectively nullifying Senate’s power to remove corrupt presidents from office. What a mess!)
So forget Biden.
It’s entirely up to Trump’s red tsunami of patriot supporters to effectively “impeach and remove” from office corrupt, incumbent federal and state lawmakers in 2022 elections, replacing them with Trump-endorsed candidates in the primaries and on Election Day.
You are so right !!!!!! I’ve been on the receiving end many times, but I just ignore their name calling stuff. Name calling used to be reserved for the left when they ran out of substance to present. I guess name calling has found a new home on the right. Ugh !!!!
If you haven't noticed, the media is all over it already. It's only going to get worse, daily.
Such as who/what, specifically?
4 more years...
desantis for florida governor 2022...
florida first!... 😎
Hah! Ron has a way with words.
And I bet he writes his own material, unlike the Idiot-in-Chief.
I would be happy with that ticket.
Crist is a non-starter.
Floridians can’t stand him.
He will never make a comeback.
DeSantis has nothing to fear from Crist.
Now, don’t be selfish.
The nation needs Ron ASAP.
ron was born and raised in florida...
ron has 3 young children...
ron’s wife recently battled breast cancer...
ron isn’t leaving the florida sunshine to move to the gloomy cold washington dc winters anytime soon...
The media BS will continue as long as liberals live and breathe.
FL Governor DeSantis is campaigning for re-election to a second term this year. FL has a resign-to-run law which requires state officials to resign from office when they choose to run for federal or another state office. If Governor Ron DeSantis was named VP candidate in 2024 following the GOP Convention in either August or September 24, he would need to resign within ten days of accepting the VP candidate position. It is very hard to believe that DeSantis would resign as FL Governor before the ink dries following his oath of office in 2023 to run for POTUS.
Thanks for all of that. Very informative. I think every elected position in every area of our .gov should have to resign their current seat if they intend to run for another at any level. Think of all the crapheads we could have weeded out of the $inate when several of them ran against Trump. Good on Florida.
Sure, without a doubt but announcing a presidential run, before he’s won his gubernatorial re-election, and before anyone else has formally announced would be an unforced error.
There’s plenty of time after the midterms. Really, he could wait a full year until late ‘22-early ‘23 to throw his hand into the ring.
There’s no good reason to do so now and many good reasons to hold off.
* Exceptions to the resign-to-run law:
o Political party offices; or
o Persons serving without salary on an appointed board or authority.
o Candidates for federal office;
o Persons seeking the office of President or Vice President. (ss. 99.012(3)(a), (6), and (7), F.S.)
I don’t think they ran things before - although they certainly were successful in the areas they were given to handle.
We’ll just have to disagree on that.
It’ll be interesting how it plays out - we’ll have to wait and see. Pence can’t hold a candle to either of them.
Good to know.
Thank you for correcting my oversight.
