After the long sequence of skirmishes and tensions that have marked their path and coexistence in recent months, the leaders change pace. The hard line adopted by Lega and Forza Italia in the aftermath of the Cinquestelle's lack of confidence in the Dl Aiuti, and the sharp no to extra time of the Draghi government, at least in its typical formation with the Cinquestelle in the majority, have suddenly brought the center-right of the government closer together. to that of opposition. The phone calls from Matteo Salvini and Silvio Berlusconi with Giorgia Meloni were cordial and it was immediately decided to put aside the residual rust and relaunch the coalition on a renewed basis, calling a summit of leaders as soon as possible.
The polls, on the other hand, speak for themselves: Youtrend's Supermedia testifies that to date, the center-right has a clear advantage with 46.6% of the votes. The Democratic Party can contend with Brothers of Italy for the palm of the first party, but in terms of coalition the center-left is far behind, both with a coalition based on the yellow-red axis with the M5S (34.7%) and in the case of a reunion with the more draghian liberal forces and the exclusion of M5S and radical left (29.7%). The center-right, in short, finds himself taking a penalty kick and cannot afford to miss it in the next September 25 elections. A 66-day sprint towards a goal on paper that is definitely within reach.

Would love to see La Familia and the rest of Italians give L’Ombrello (The Umbrella) bicep bump to the Globalists.
Get the invaders the hell out of Italy! Italy for Italians!
This is historically typical Italian politics. When JFK was President I read that Italy had experienced something like 62 govts in 65 years. Used to follow Italy as a kid because an uncle was JFK’s Italian interpreter. I remember Dad showing us a photo in Life magazine of Uncle Giovanni with JFK and the Italian PM in the Oval Office.
