I keep 5 acres in milkweed for them. I had thoughts of joining the Monarch conservancy group but it was just too much BS. All you gotta do is not cut the milkweed so I didn’t and let it grow up.
We are not on the main flyway though. When I was growing up we were and they were thick in the pecan grove down by the creek.
What a shame for everyone they are in such trouble.
Yes I agree. We love the Monarchs. This is very sad.
I thought there was supposed to be a multi million dollar project to plant milkweed along abandon roads or seldom used roads, reclaimed land etc. especially in the flyways
