Recently, a team of individuals went after phone scam call centers in India in EPIC fashion. Mark Rober used his skills to fashion booby traps, Trilogy Media flew to India and had insiders plant them, and Jim Browning used his hacker skills to gain access to the scammers' internal systems. What follows is mind-blowing. Presented here are three separate videos from each of their channels detailing how it all went down and the aftermath.
Mark Rober - Pranks Destroy Scam Callers- GlitterBomb Payback
Trilogy Media - GLITTERBOMBING a Scam Call Center w/ Mark Rober
Jim Browning - Pranking Scammers ft. Mark Rober
Each shows a different aspect of how it all went down, from the details of making the booby traps, embedding their rather (ahem) special payload, the nail-biting risk of deploying them under the scammers' noses, and the psychological warfare that only Jim Browning could provide (his video is not to be missed -- it's comedy gold).
One day we were not busy at work and some scammer called. We pretended we were interested in whatever he was selling but didn’t have the authority to issue a purchase. Let me transfer you to purchasing. Make the guy go thru his spiel again and tell them hold on for the purchasing agent, then his boss and so on. The three of us held them up for quite a while before they caught on.
My friend answers scam calls and fakes a weird foreign dialect. They hang up on her and she claims calls have been cut in half.
Watched some of them. Funny, and sad .
That one center making $65k /day.
Caught my wife almost getting scammed on a call.
When I hear a strong Indian accent my antennae perk up.
I would have tried to get Worker’s Comp to DENY the claims.
I get a similar guy who calls me from “U S Medicare”
Called Sat at 5:38 AM.
I like Kitboga as well.
Worth watching. I made my elderly parents watch these videos and it was very eye opening for them.
Mark’s squirrel maze was also worth watching. Diabolical squirrels and evil scammers will always be with us 😔

There is a freeper who used to occasionally post his accounts of scamming the scammers. Can’t recall the name. Might have been lowbridge. Some of the posts were hilarious.
Can’t tell you how many organizations I’ve phoned that require me to press one for English and then I end up with an Indian who’s accent is so strong, I can’t understand a word they are saying. I ask to speak to an American.
I did not get the “phone gene” ( and I am getting old)..on the other hand, I have finally trained my husband NOT to answer every call on his cell...and he has learned to ask the caller if he can call them back if the caller is questionable. That usually ends the call.
A few years back my father-in-law called me. He said “I shouldn’t be telling you this but your son is in a Canadian prison charged with drug crimes.”
“They told me not to tell you but I thought it might be better if you knew.”
Fortunately, he didn’t send them the bail money.
Thanks for sharing! She is adorable and brilliant!
The current scam in my area is a tweo stage scram. They call saying they are Amazon calling to confirm a thousaand dollar purchase of a smart phone and if you did not authorize this prss 1. I know Amazon does not do this so when I press one and the Indian liar comes ont he line I tell them they are a lying thief and they are going to hell. They always hang up, somtimes after a loud gasp.
Here’s another good one.

Yep
Tell the Jesus Christ can deliver them from that.
OK, I have been hooked on scam baiting videos and this one is pure gold.
It’s 8 1/2 mins long and the best part is the very end. IRLrosie does a killer Alexa imitation.
Calling Scammer as Kermit the Frog and DRUNK ALEXA! #scambaiting with IRLrosie!
