According to Ezekiel 38, G-d is doing that--not us. And according to Zechariah 14, He will also send "consternation" or "tumult" (confusion, illogical thinking,...) to all of the people in the nations who oppose his original and unchanged (Malachi 3:6) plan for Israel.

So each and every person will choose one side or the other (Zechariah 12:9) before the rebuilding of the Temple and G-d's arrival to rule this planet and universe (what many of the people in each and every major religious faction try to avoid believing).
