Florida first lady Casey DeSantis hit out at California Governor Gavin Newsom after he explained why he attacked Ron DeSantis in a July 4 ad.
Newsom paid for an ad to air in Florida during the July 4 weekend where he criticized Ron DeSantis' governing of the state. He urged Americans to move from Florida to California as he claimed their freedoms were under attack.
He said they were under attack on issues like abortion, book banning and the easiness of voting.
Over the weekend, Newsom spoke to the Sacramento Bee and gave his explanation for why he aired the ad.
Discussing his reasons for taking out the ad on Friday, Newsom told the Sacramento Bee that "he did something that tipped me very directly, and that was going after the Special Olympics."

Isabella competed in the Special Olympics because @RonDeSantisFL stood up and fought for her and all the other Special Olympians who would have been sidelined.

How many Republican governors would have had the spine to tell the Special Olympics to let all kids compete, even the unvaccinated - or face a stiff fine?
Too many GOP governors are non entitled and wimps. Desantis has shamed them - just as he shame governors of both parties into ending Covid lockdowns. And he ridiculed Fauci when Trump was still treating him like an authority to be respected. Desantis has grit. The GOP needs more leaders with grit.

Newsom is a corrupt communist (small c), and incompetent governor.
If there was a real news media in the country, Newsom and his cronies would have been driven out of office two years ago by public demand.
Her tweet does not mention Newsome or California. It is utterly dishonest to characterize it as “hitting back” at Newsome.
But it’s the pathetic lamestream media, so what else do you expect?
So it’s just a coincidence that she tweets this the day after Newsom criticized Desantis over the Specisl Olympics? Of course she doesn’t mention him by name, she has too much class to dignify him

I don’t know why Newsom was upset. He’s jabbed, so he can still compete in the Special Olympics.
This whole Newsome/Desantis fued seems so orchestrated. Something very off about it. can’t uite put my finger on it. .like it’s all staged..hmmm
Gavin New💩 is a nobody. Florida is getting people to move in. California is having people move out. I just sold a 650k house to a family who just moved here. He told me that the house he sold was 800k and it wasn’t as big as this house. I told him that this is what living in a semi cheap state does. He said that he knows that is why he moved out
