That was the Akin strategy all over again. The left figures Cox is easier to beat in the general election, so they run ads discussing how horrible he is in the primary, in the hopes that conservatives will run to support him. It usually works.

I don’t think Cox is the kind of idiot that Akin was, so the strategy could backfire this fall.

Conservatives voted for Cox because the left “run ads discussing how horrible Cox is in the primary”?
That's about the biggest nonsense on this thread. Conservatives/Trump supporters voted for Cox because he's NOT a Rino and he has the endorsement of President Trump. Last thing we need is another Hogan, who is a stronger Dem than most Dems are. Who needs a creep like that unless you are a Dem?
