Around the world, one would be amazed how much of this came through the bureaucrats and the courts, not the will of the people. The same is true of the current transgender idiocy.
The reason I point this out is that many on the right have given up hope for the West. They see what is going on in the West and are rooting for Russia against Ukraine. They have falsely interpreted that war as a contest between Globohomo (global homogenization/global homosexuality) and a traditional Christian nation, which is Russia.
Wrong!
For such a Christian nation, Russia still has the highest abortion rates in the world and remains a tyranny.
But doesn't Putin claim to be a Christian?! Doesn't the Orthodox Church in Russia support him? Yes. But so did Hitler, and Hitler found a pliant Protestant bishop, Ludwig Muller, to run the Reichschurch.
Hitler, like Putin, promised to restore traditional German values, even as he erased them. Yet German propaganda during the times emphasized how degenerate the United States was.
In America, at that time, the extremist right produced Elizabeth Dilling. She hated the leftist policies of FDR, but then she became an apologist for Germans.

Dilling praised Germany for the opposition it posed to communism in the 1930s. She even seemed to absolve Hitler, later declaring in The Red Network that the "problem of the large number of revolutionary Russian Jews in Germany doubtless contributed toward making Fascist Germany anti-semitic [sic]." Be careful about painting the West as the bad guy in the Ukrainian struggle. We have horrible problems, but we are not as demented as Russia. Our problems are fixable.

yet there are none at stake here.
ISIS, and Al Qaeda before them were for “traditional values” too and ISIS were particularly opposed to the gay agenda giving gays the rooftop treatment. Yeah, we should consider them “one of us too” then like we do Putin. Putin is “one of us” because he is fighting the homogloboshlomofomomomo… bogeyman. The idiocy of this is mind numbing. It’s what happens when your knowledge of history comes from reading clickbait conspiracy blogs than studying actual history.
Where bystanders like us “cast our support” in relation to this conflict is meaningless.
I simply observe, but those treating this as some kind of Super Bowl can wave pom poms for whoever they like.
I definitely agree. What strikes me is that, while recently reviewing older posts from 2021 and before, most of the posters tearing each other to pieces regarding their opinions vis-a-vis Russia/Ukraine were practically in lockstep on US domestic issues.
If you're referring to the Budapest Memorandum in 1994, it obliged no such thing.
What it did oblige (as far as it could, since it carried no enforcement mechanisms as a treaty would) was for the parties to resort to the UN Security Council.
To this point, as far as I'm aware, the UN Security Council has not authorized military aid or action on behalf of member states to defend Ukraine; so unless you're referring to an entirely different treaty wherein the United States "guaranteed [Ukraine's] national sovereignty", relying on this Memorandum to buttress this claim is without merit.
BS. From the American Stinker.

I Sirius Lee hope that the filthy russians and ukes kill each other. The more, the better.

Ditching Ukraine would not be a mistake. Putin is the lesser evil by far. Putin was forced into into his alliance with China after a constant American media drumbeat of Russia-Russia-Russia. The USA can survive a victory by a Russia fighting in its own backyard, but a victory by the Biden-EU-Davos cabal would greatly strengthen the socialist/LGBT one worlders.
To hell with creepy Joe Biden, his pet monkey Bidenistas, and any stupid project they start.
The best thing that ever happened to Ukraine is the Russian invasion. America=Empire of Lies. So much for the “American Stinker.” Ukraine, the most corrupt country in the world pays everybody to lie. Oh, where does the billions of bucks go? American Stinker maybe. MSM for sure. Congress for sure, the Biden crime family, absolutely.
Are most Americans that brain dead?
The main purpose of Russian propaganda aimed at the people of the USA is to recruit those Americans to support Russian expansionism. The most effective tactic for doing so is to disseminate maniacal conspiracy theories to people who are impaired against logic.
Conservatives don’t support commie/fascist expansionism by demanding that the USA allow an expansion, and Democrats are only presenting weak, halfhearted efforts to block that expansion because of the Democrat Wilsonian tendency.
Historically, the lefties are the ones who allowed a developing world war to approach our doorstep. But now, too many business interests (wealthy political donors) only care about the money that they get today. They don’t care about what will happen tomorrow as a result of the growing monster of commie/fascist expansionism. Like criminals, they refuse to consider consequences and are willfully blind to the future. That goes with the fact that so many of them nowadays start their businesses with debt and run continuously on debt.
RE: The best thing that ever happened to Ukraine is the Russian invasion.
How so? Are you telling us that an expansionist Russia that takes over a neighboring country is good for that country?
What if Russia continues to the rest of Eastern Europe after Ukraine, would it be the best thing for these countries as well? If so, why?
What’s so good about being under Russia?
Hey Frankis4Liberty, you were banned 26 Feb 2022, and were later banned again under a different name. Why do you keep coming back here?
Israel has been the most pro-LGBT country in the Middle East for literal years, so some of that evil you speak of has been quite out in the open there.
Besides, the modern nation of Israel is not a creation of God (born from His covenant with the Chosen People), but of man; I don't think it's wise to ascribe the same status to it just because it shares the same name.
