I’ve lived in South Florida, Baltimore suburbs, Atlanta suburbs and other places over the years, and to me, the rents always reflect the economic level of the renters in any given area. High salaries = high rents, low salaries = slums................

I propose a high rise for elected representatives. One location, in the toughest neighborhood in DC, free of charge to all representatives. Each would be a ONE-bedroom condo suitable for a single person alone. No moving your family along. ZERO permitted armed security.

I found corroborating data here: dqydj It has the 82nd percentile income as $150,275. But that is for household income. Not individuals.
