He spent a lot of time bragging about letting felons out of prison, and he blasted Biden for being “too tough” on drug offenders in his crime bill back in the 80s. Unlike 2016, Trump no longer talked about the wall,?infrastructure, taxing hedge fund billionaires, or bringing factories back from low-wage third world countries. Instead, he bragged about signing the McConnell-Ryan tax cuts for big, woke corporations. He also boasted about the vaccines. And you’re surprised he didn’t win like he won in 2016 - when he no longer sounded like the MAGA candidate of 2016?
