Thanks, interesting article but some was very unclearly written to me... Does this Russia to India pipeline currently exist?
It’s not a pipeline. It’s a sea and rail corridor from Russia to India that cuts the time of sending a cargo container from Russia to India from 40 to 25 days.
And it does not involve “evil” Russian cargos needing to run the gauntlet of USN/NATO waters through the Baltic/North Sea/Atlantic/Mediterranean/Suez Canal/Red Sea to India.
It will be ships and RRs from Russia to Iran’s Indian Ocean ports with not a single USN/NATO warship in sight. Meaning it will be cut off from future sanction threats.
(I clipped and modified this from another comment I just sent on another thread.)
The new north-south Caspian trade corridor from Russia to India is being mega-turbo-boosted by our present sanctions against Russia.
Once it’s in full motion, it [the Russia-Caspian-Iran-India corridor] will take on a life of its own (like the Panama or Suez Canals) and thus cement Russia, the Caspian “Stans”, Iran, Pakistan and India together in its’ own trade bloc.
A trade bloc totally outside the reach or effects of the U.S./Petrodollar/EU/NATO bloc.
(IOW, the won’t need the “protection” of the US Navy, or to use U.S. “Petrodollars,” to conduct trade.)
