This political correctness has taken all humor from our lives. if the tweet had been against a conservative/Republican it would not have raised an eyebrow much less a firing.
That happened to me over 20 years ago. The head of employee relations came up and told me I couldn’t tell jokes anymore. Some people would get offended. I asked if I could tell a joke about a rock. She thought, and said no. Some people would think the rock was referring to them.

You mean you don’t remember all the firings of people that wrote nasty things about Trump or Bush or DeSantis...?
