Former President Donald Trump leads the 2024 Republican primary field by nearly 20 points in New Hampshire and Texas, according to a pair of polls.
A Neighborhood Research/Media NH poll shows Trump with a 19 point lead over his next closest competitor, Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL), among potential Republican primary voters who were asked to rank their top three choices for 2024. The 45th president garnered 41.1 percent of the response, while 22.1 percent said they would vote for DeSantis. Former Vice President Mike Pence came in third at 1.3 percent. Several other candidates, including Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), Former ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley, and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo polled under one percent. Another 30.1 percent were undecided. Respondents were not provided options but were asked an open-ended question about their top three picks for the next Republican nominee.
A CWS/Defend Texas Liberty PAC poll, which sampled those who voted in the Lone Star State’s Republican primaries or runoffs earlier this year, documented a similar trend in Texas. Trump again enjoyed a 19 point lead over DeSantis, at 45 percent and 26 percent, respectively. Pence came in third place at six percent, while Haley and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) both garnered 5 percent of the response, placing them in fourth place right behind the former vice president. Four percent of poll participants placed their support behind Gov. Greg Abbott (R-TX), and an additional nine percent were undecided.
These results from New Hampshire and Texas mirror a national pattern, as 53 percent of Americans would vote for Trump, according to the RealClearPolitics polling average for the 2024 Republican primary. DeSantis is more than 30 percentage points behind Trump but holds a strong lead over the rest of the field.

Pence at 1.3% made me smile. Nothing else in thr poll matters to me.
The deep-state, neocons, corrupt media, intelligence agencies, fed.gov apparatchiks and the democrat party have spent the last 6+ years trying to destroy Donald Trump.
People complain about his hiring choices, but given such an onslaught, the depth of the swamp, and the betrayal of much of the GOP - its a miracle he has survived and is still fighting. Imagine the terror in the deep state when he wins in 2024. It will be beautiful to watch.
Donald Trump has all the right enemies, and for Republicans to abandon him now would the biggest error the nation could make.

Would love to see Trump and DeSantis work together with true allies to figuratively mow down the left in this election.
I think that realistically, if Trump runs, he’s the clear front runner, and many other contenders being mentioned won’t even run in the primaries, if Trump runs.
If Trump doesn’t run, then it could be a crowded field with over a dozen people on a debate state for primary season debates.

They assisted the Democrats in all of it, Russia, Russia, Russia, impeachments, the Big Steal.
It’s the voters who want to keep their country who want Trump back.
Haley and Cruz are not natural born citizens and are ineligible.
I have checked the record on both. I believe Haley was born after her parents were “Naturalized.” Not quite sure about Cruz. There’s some “Canada” stuff about his father living there as well?
Cruz was born in Canada to a Cuban father and an American mother, three nationalities. (He was still a Canadian until 2015)
Haley was born to two Indian nationals, two nationalities.
Natural born citizens are NATURALLY citizens because they were born here of citizen parents and have only ONE nationality.
It was that singularity of nationality that the founders were requiring.
Anyone born with more than ONE nationality is not naturally an American as they are also something else.
The children of foreigners ARE foreigners, even if born here.
If Cruz’s Mother was a citizen of the U.S. when Cruz was born then he is a U.S. citizen. I doesn’t matter if his Father was Cuban, or if he was born in Canada. Tons of U.S. service men have married foreigners, on foreign soil, and had children while overseas. Their kids were automatically U.S. citizens. The key is that one of the parents has to be a U.S. citizen at the time of birth.
I’m a U.S. citizen. My daughter was born in England when I was stationed there. She had a dual citizenship (U.S. and British) until she was 18. When she was 18 she chose to be a U.S. citizen only - rejected the British citizenship.

no doubt ... but they’ll do that regardless of the GOP candidate and Trump is the ONLY Republican that has demonstrated he can and will stand up to the entire world’s slings and arrows and even give back worse than they send ...
