I often think about that movie. Dano was too highly-strung.
From that movie, I decided to try frying sliced potatoes and pan-frying then with red cabbage and pepper. I fried chopped onions in there too, with a little butter 🧈 and some olive oil or Italian dressing.
Not bad.
Dano was like Chef in Apocalypse Now: “Chef was from New Orleans. He was wrapped too tight for Vietnam, he was probably wrapped too tight for New Orleans.”
