WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. Republicans in Congress are lining up behind legislation that critics say would roll back protections for transgender people, setting a playbook for action on a divisive social issue should they take control of Congress this fall.
Republicans in the House of Representatives have introduced a bill that would block federal funding to colleges where transgender women are allowed to participate in sports with cisgender women. A separate bill would allow transgender people to sue medical personnel who helped them transition as minors.
Another bill would block funding to schools that disobey state laws regarding "materials harmful to minors," mimicking state laws that have been used to remove books discussing history around race and LGBT themes.
Critics say the legislation proposed by House Republicans would reduce access to care needed by transgender people to transition.
Advocates are pushing Democrats to do more to enshrine protections into law before the November elections, but they face uncertain prospects in the evenly divided Senate.
"If we lose the House or the Senate I think it's really unlikely we'll be able to prevent discrimination" at the federal level, said Fran Hutchins, executive director of Equality Federation.

If this was a better world, all that minority RINOs would have to do to stop desperate, election year Democrats in their tracks regarding politically correct, vote-winning, so-called "transgender rights" is to point out the following.
The only sex-related right that the states have amended the Constitution to expressly protect limits Congress to finding remedies for sex-related discrimination only in the context of voting rights problems, evidenced by the 19th Amendment.

The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex.
Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation."
"From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. In other words, minority RINOs are failing to point out that desperate, election year federal Democrats don't have the express constitutional authority to make non-voting related, so-called "transgender" civil rights protections laws imo.

And speaking of election year Democrats, Trump's red tsunami of patriot supporters are reminded that they must vote twice this election year. Your first vote is to primary career RINO incumbents in federal and state governments. Your second vote is to replace outgoing Democrats and RINOs with Trump-endorsed patriot candidates.

The problem is the women who play games, that are supposed to be for girls only, when the boys are allowed to play. The women simply have to say that they don’t want to play a sports game, with rules they don’t like.
Congress should simply stop funding Higher Education, and those attending can play all the games they want.
At the very least, taxpayer dollars shouldn’t fun adults playing children’s games. It’s so absurd.

I agree. But even with the surgical mutilation and the chemicals, males retain XY chromosomes and females XX as you stated. There is no changing this.
