What a joke. Everyone knows it’s WAY higher. According to my online Walmart account, grocery prices have spiked more than 40%. Just a few examples comparing last July to today: Boneless chicken breasts $1.98 lb. to $3.22.
Lettuce $1.18 to $1.68
Chunky soup $1.52 to $2.23
50 lb. dog food $20.48 to $26.48
Gallon milk $2.65 to $3.44
Dozen eggs $.92 to $1.77

A table of your one-year change data. Wow, we knew it was bad, but this is staggering. I added them all up to get an average. This assumes you buy each item only once during the year. But it would be the same percentage change if you bought each item once a week or once a month.

THIRTYFIVE PERCENT in one year. Better start stocking up on that dog food.
