You, know, if the “1/6 ‘Commission’” was a real adversarial process, with real Conservatives on it, it would be the perfect venue for the Democrats to bring him in front of it, and they could get him to describe on the record how his life has been ruined by conservatives.
I think that would be just great, but only if there were some real Conservatives on the “commission” who might ask him some “questions” which he would have to answer under oath.
I have seen that before. The thing that makes me most suspicious (besides all the overt coordinating he is doing with the crowds) is the way he is interacting with that young man, cupping his hand, getting close to his ear.
You don’t do that with someone you just met.
He claims that he agreed last minute to go to DC with one of his sons and another friend to support Trump. If that’s true, then why is he on video at 12:50 pm when the gates were first being breached while Trump was still speaking at the rally. Which son did he go with and was his son arrested?
He claims he was taken off the list of wanted protestors 2 days after the protest because he called the FBI when he heard he was wanted. How many other protestors were afforded that opportunity and then allowed to go free?
His full name is James Ray Epps, and he’s married to Robyn Poyfair Epps. He has a son named James and another named Darrell, but I’m pretty sure he’s got more kids because he claims to have 37 grandchildren! And of course, they’re Mormon.
They resided in a house in Queen Creek, AZ, on a small farm. In 2019, they built The Knotty Barn on an adjacent piece of land and they rent it out for weddings, celebrations of life, and meetings. They claim they sold it at a loss and now live in a trailer on some land at the foot of the Rockies in Colorado. There’s a Scott Epps that lived in Payson, Colorado, outside of Colorado Springs who I assume is a relative, so he could be living in that general area.
Everybody on his wife’s FB page just adores them, and most of the testimonials from the Knotty Barn remark on how sweet and kind they are. Of course, most of those testimonials are from relatives who had their receptions there, lol.
In summary, he could be a Boy Scout in real life, but I just think there are too many unanswered questions about Ray’s activities on 1/6 for which we really need an explanation.

Revolver.news was listed by Adam Goldberg as an “obscure right-wing site” revealing the truth (not what Goldberg opines) about Ray Epps. I haven’t read your article link yet, but I will today. The worst I’ve read about Epps was that he was hollering directions to Capitol police to shoot Ashley Babbitt. I pray that Congress holds hearings about Ray Epps, and subsequently the shooting of Ashli Babbitt.
