You’ve got to get it into action, take the safety off, rack the slide, whatever. And it has mass and you have to point it at the guy.
Having a gun at a distance is good, but not close in, especially if you are frail with not much grip strength. I can see the thug slapping it out of your hand.
I take a walk in the wee hours, about 1.5 miles. A few nights ago a young homeless looking guy was walking in the opposite direction. I looked him in the eye and said hello as he approached. After he passed I turned just in time to see he had changed direction and was nearly at my side. When he saw me looking, he turned tail and kept walking. I believe he was going to assault me. So I plan to get some pepper spray and have it in my hand whenever I approach a sketchy character.
As does psychopathy. Liberalism/progressivism/communism has fostered two generations of psychopaths. These people literally have no conscience or probably even the concept of a conscience.
