It is funny! And a keeper all right, Theopolis. Kept in my brain pan since the early sixties, lol. I've been reminded it's from Mad Magazine. I put in the NY refs.

You can find the album “Mad Grooves” on Apple Music and prob elsewhere to hear such classics as “It’s a Gas” and “She’s Got a Nose Job.”

The parody of “The Streets Where You Live”came as a floppy record inserted in the magazine.

Another I'll never forget is the “Monopoly Fight Song” set to the music of the “Marines’ Hymn.”

From the slums of Baltic Avenue,
‘round to Boardwalk and park place,
We will buy up all the properties, build hotels on every space,
We will drive our foes to bankruptcy if they fail to pay the price,
But we cannot even start the game ‘til somebody finds the dice!

Or bowling.. lol.. to Over There. Roll the ball.. roll the ball, groove it in we can win. It's a crucial frame now so take good aim now.. And we'd have won if you'd let go of the ball.

Or craps set to a college fight song. Roll a seven! Roll eleven! Get down on your knees.. can't remember more.. but funny stuff.
