With one week to go until primary day in Maryland, former President Donald Trump and Gov. Larry Hogan are taking aim at each other in the GOP gubernatorial nomination race to succeed the term-limited Republican governor.
Trump, who last year endorsed state Delegate Dan Cox, claimed in a statement on Tuesday that Cox "is doing a great job running for Governor of Maryland."
And the former president argued that "Dan will end Larry Hogan’s terrible RINO reign by defeating his "Never Trump" successor, another low-energy RINO, Kelly Schulz."

The Dems have a supermajority in the MD state legislature. Even if Hogan vetoes something, the legislature simply overrides it. I cannot think of a single thing that was different for Maryland because Hogan ran as a Republican.
Hogan was an embarrassment with his outspoken Trump hating comments.
After SCOTUS rules that the Constitution is correct in relation for firearms, Lockdown Larry had the temerity to post how he’s always supported the rights of Marylanders to carry concealed firearms.
Gee, that funny that with such a strongly held belief he never once said or did anything to let us know of his belief.
I can’t wait till he’s gone. Dan Cox sued Hogan in Federal Court for his lockdowns. That enough earned my vote.
Peter Franchot is the expected liberal candidate. He’s bno better or worse than Hogan
