My family went thru the same crap. We went back to homeschooling. The kids wanted to try public school and since they were way ahead, we let them go to public school knowing they would encounter leftists yeachers. They hated it. Ultimately, they finished high school at home basically teaching themselves and I only had to tutor calculus and physics. I thought independent study would be good prep for college.

It's amazing how much hand holding there is in college these days. I kept telling them how different it was going to be from high school. It was basically grown up high school and all the negatives to go with it.
