I remember growing up watching the riots in ‘68.
It produced a small group of Americans who grew up to be very conservative.

I went to a high school that had race riots (fights) in the 70’s. It changes one’s perspective.

Indeed it did. I was only 12 when the riots started, but by the mid 60s we saw them every single night on the evening news. I remember as a young teen being thoroughly repulsed by what I saw. Living in upstate New York, we didn’t see anything like that in our towns.
