It might have some validity. When I discussed this with my daughter last night, we delineated difference between chronological generations and political generations. My parents are from the very end of the greatest generation. I’m from the very end of baby boomers. My father was a huge Goldwater supporter. You know what I heard about growing up. My daughters are on the cusps of GenX and GenY. All they heard about was conservatism/libertarianism growing up. And me complaining about RINOs. Point being, I think political leanings are learned from parents to a large degree. There are alternating political generations. (Maybe, just conjecture on my part)
You’re correct. Like most things, it starts at home. I have talked to my kids about everything political from a young age. They are all so far, libertarian/conservative.
