A thought just occurred to me. Do you remember all the Let’s Go Brandon chants at college football games last year? Students were doing that. You have to think that leftists professors were cringing. I know both of my daughters couldn’t wait to get away from leftists professors/instructors in college. They said they went along to get the grade, but never changed their conservative principles. I guess the nightly family dinner talks, sans devices, paid off.
I hear you about the college profs and kids going along to get along. My son learned fast his first year in school. He wrote a paper skewering liberal principles his freshman year and got a D on it. After that he tailored everything he did to reflect what the profs wanted to hear and became and “A” student.
We used to scheme writing strategies over dinner. His school required “African studies” course for graduation. His proudest moment was a paper he wrote with the premise, “You are a racist if you disagree with Obama”. Got an A on that one.
