They hate him so much over at Democratic Underground, LOL! They should. A Republican with Trump's policies but a more disciplined verbal style and a huge success story in Florida could beat them badly in 2024.

Earlier this year, DeSantis signed a legislation that protected the life of an unborn baby after 15 weeks of pregnancy. Other states have much shorter time periods for abortions.

We Floridians often hear about how we get more federal dollars than we send to DC. One has to wonder how true this actually is -- leftist canards tend to oversimplify things to their benefit, unsurprisingly. I'd be interested to here what information sources other than biased sites like 'politifact' and MSN. Got a source for your information, brand-new FReeper?
As for people 'vacationing in' Florida during the pandemic, the word you are looking for is 'escaping to' -- and if that's true, who's fault is that? Perhaps the locked-down, triple-vaxxed, mask-mandate crazy blue states?

These figures are caused by huge welfare populations that aree endemic and built-in in these states.
You can thank Lyndon Johnson and his Great Society (Democrat freebies and handouts) for this.
Generations of grifters have gravitated to the states with the most freebies.
