Intresting little page.
Ran the Large scale attack simulator.
Looks like the first wave hit sac, norad, and all the airforce bases. Didn’t see but I assume it hit DC and NYC then too. Second wave seemed to hit state capitals. Third wave hit industrial targets. For example, I noticed detroit was getting pummeled with a lot of hits early on and by comparison Chicago didn’t get as much.

I guess being 50 miles from Seattle doesn’t help with thermonuclear war. The first one in western Washington state is on NAS Whidbey Island.
Then Bremerton Navy Base, then three for good measure on the Jim Creek sub communications grid in my back yard.
That hive of scum and villainy, Seattle, doesn’t get it until after I am toast.
About the only thing that makes me think this simulation isn’t legit, is that it ignores Indian Island, where the Navy keeps a munitions depot, and unofficially nuclear bombs.

Interesting link. Their target set is very incomplete.

...it's easy for a miscalculation or a mistake to get out of hand. Or for an leader to simply make a bad call. The U.S. president, for instance, can order a nuclear attack at any time and for any reason. There are no safeguards. Therefore it's imperative the president be psychological and emotionally stable, as the fate of the planet rests in that person's hands. The same goes for the leaders of the other nuclear powers. from link: https://nuclearwarmap.com Let's hope democrats live long enough to know how their Biden/vote turned out.

“Fun simulation, if you’re into nuclear destruction.”
For NYC, you bet.

While not as depressing as I thought it would be, since I moved to Eastern WA state, how wonderful that I only get three airbursts (Fairchild AFB) and the fallout from the groundburst at Grand Coulee Dam.
Huzzah !
Instead of the shitshow of the Seattle-Portland apocalypse, but we do get their fallout. And Japan's fallout. Any South Korea's fallout. And Russia and China's fallout.
