I don’t think it would be that simple and it certainly wouldn’tbe fair. For example, look at Illinois if it wasn’t for Chicago it would be a red state. Pennsylvania is hemmed in by the two dung-hole bookends Pittsburgh and Philadelphia. Georgia which is almost blue, which is all due to Atlanta!

No, it certainly would not be simple-and I was taught from an early age that life is seldom fair-some big cities on/near the border of a blue state might want to become part of that blue state-fine-my employer is from Oregon and he says that inter-state split has been discussed for years and is being talked about again. I don’t know where Chicago would go-but if the rest of Illinois overrules it, something drastic would happen. A population switch in those areas seems logical-likewise, Atlanta, which has turned part of that once-lovely state into crap...
