The pre 2014 government was as legit as Crimea’s and Biden’s. You have to ignore Russian corruption and hyper focus on Ukraine’s in order to justify Russia.
Ukraine has a right to exist and to self determination.

The Ukrainians in Crimea and the so-called Donbas who voted for the pro-Russian government did meet Russian invasion with open arms.
