Former Trump White House adviser Kellyanne Conway has said that Donald Trump should keep his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, far away from the campaign trail if Trump makes another presidential run in 2024 — and accused Kushner of profiting “handsomely” from his four years in the West Wing.
Conway, who helmed the 45th president’s successful 2016 White House run, mocked reports that Kushner has said he is through with politics, calling that statement a “convenient way of saying, ‘Don’t hold me responsible for all the authority I gave myself.'”

She is right about one thing. If you have an “R” by your name they are coming for you.
This always happens. We pick our standard-bearer. They launch attacks in the press, dig up dirt, invent dirt, trash him 24 hours a day, and people start to say we should have picked someone with less baggage.
But it doesn’t matter who we pick, he will be trashed. So whoever we pick, be prepared to stand by him right on through the mud storm.
And they will steal the election if they can.
Never underestimate the ability of a Marxist regime to establish new protocol.
Kellyanne has lost all credibility.
Of course they are. But that's not an excuse for saying stupid things, nor does it mean that all candidates are equally vulnerable to such attacks.
How effective those tactics are with swing voters - and that's what really matters in elections - depends upon the legitimacy of the attacks. If you don't say stupid things, or things that needlessly in alienate people, it makes it much tougher to attack you in a way that is going to resonate with those voters.
Our candidates have enough difficulties dodging the bullets that are fired at them. There's no reason to be shooting ourselves in the foot at the same time.
Get ready for a tusanmi of a midterm in November when the House and Senate go from blue to red very fast.
