Yet by then we won’t be recognizable as the USA anymore. Why even care about foreign affairs when you have a crisis in your own country?

Besides I don’t agree with your internationalist outlook anyway. There is little evidence WW1 or WW2 for examples had anything to do with us looking after ourselves first and trying to trade with all friendly countries, keeping a neutral stance. Both wars were well, well underway before we got involved.

There is as much evidence the US getting involved in every countries dispute actually does lead to more war. Take Syria for example and the Arab Spring Uprising partially started by Hillary and Obama that created ongoing civil war there as well as the mess Libya became as well as nearly a civil war in Egypt.

WW1 for example we had no more excuse to join in on the Allied Side than we did the central powers. The sinking of The Lusitania for example was a direct result of us choosing one side and supplying them with weapons and other supplies.

The Ron Paul’s have it right not the Bushes and Cheneys/ Clinton’s.

And this article from MSM source even:

Too bad China and Russia have no intention of minding their own business.

If you believe neither Vladimir Putin or Xi Jiping (or their successors) have not this nation’s destruction as their primary standing order, I advised reconsidering your position in the light of history.

The only thing that stands in the way of China conqering the entirety of the Asian Pacific Rim, or Russia taking all of Europe, is the United States.

Russia has no hesitancy with using nuclear weapons. “MAD” doctrine was never any real obstacle for them, because they have no repect for human life. Their mindset makes no provision for such “impractical” considerations. All that matters to the Russian psyche, and all that has ever mattered to their leaders, is power and global dominance.

The Russians are still as much the souless communist barbarians they were when existing as the Soviet State. Nothing changed in their mindset with the end of the Cold War and the fall of the USSR. They simply put on a different face for the purpose of deception. Russians are incapable of instituting or living under democratic principles. Their history is one of constant aggression against neighboring countries, and the subjugation and enslavement of peoples. The Russians will never change their stripes, because they are incapable of being anything other than a warmongering people - it is their basic nature.

Ditto for China, a state that has existed for millenia, and never peacefully. China’s history is also one of warlords and conquest. Their ambitions for global power are more ruthless that that of Russia - and the Chinese are much more insideous in their methods. They are better skilled in the art of espionage, economic subversion and cultural infiltration.

The unfortunate circumstance of having a leftist sock-puppet vegetable for a US president only makes our situation ten-fold more dangerous. At least Ukraine’s comparatively small military is making Putin’s forces pay a high price for the “special military operation.” I would wager too that China, seeing Russia’s inability to competently fight a conventional war, has its eyes set on Russia’s eastern provinces - which did at one time belong to China.
