The Jewish Agency denied a media report claiming it had been ordered to cease its work in Russia and said that it is still fully operational there.
The Jerusalem Post reported on Monday that the Russian government ordered the Jewish Agency to immediately cease its operations in the country, claiming that the agency has been illegally collecting information on Russian citizens and transferring the data in violation of the law.
The organization release a statement shortly afterwards saying that “no instruction has been received from the Russian government to cease operations by the Jewish Agency.”
The Jewish Agency is a semi-governmental international organization known as the main body that encourages and facilitates aliyah, Jewish immigration to Israel. Its purpose is to also ensure safety of Jews abroad and strengthen their connection to Israel.

Given the fact that Israel hasn't taken sides in the current conflict, and was considered a possible neutral party to facilitate negotiations early on, this wouldn't make much sense. I doubt Russia cares much about Russians moving to Israel.
Russia, of course, has no checkered record on its own. It’s all just disinformation.
Facts work better than propaganda why not tell the true stories if one wants to point out Russia “human rights” record.
You can find real bad stuff in the historical accounts excluding the Soviet Communist Era and of course worse in the Soviet Communist times than in Czarist times which were bad enough on their own.
That assumes that the facts are known in advance, and anything that’s “misinformation” has a big flashing sign over it. Russia’s centuries long horrible record makes bad allegations more credible at first blush, but on closer examination, the true facts can still be ascertained, provided one isn’t swallowed up by a runaway narrative. So somebody thought to ask the Jewish Agency, and good on them for that.
