Back when I was in high school, we had a thing called “Hunky showers”. It was no shower at all. It was something you did at the end of gym class when there wasn’t enough time to take a real shower. You’d just douse yourself with a huge amount of after-shave, and off you’d go to the next class.
Perhaps Germany should institute mandatory Hunky showers.
Disclaimer #1: Hunky was short for Hungarian. I’m of Hungarian descent, and the phrase never offended me. Heck, 3/4 of my classmates were children or grandchildren of Eastern Europeans. Nothing but a bunch of Hunkies!
