Bezos in this matter is correct. Gas station owners make pennies per gallon but dipwad Biden doesn’t blame the high gasoline taxes that are passed every year by State Governments. California just had another $0.03 per gallon tax go into effect on 7-1-2022. That is on top of two other gas taxes the One Party Ruled State passed over the past 36 months.
Most gasoline today is sold by convenience stores and mass retailers like Costco. They have no refineries or oil fields-they buy on the open market at the lowest cost and often sell at the lowest price. Any attempt by the Feds to control or freeze means Costco shuts the pumps down.
