McCarthy tried to put Jordon and others on the Jan 6 Committee as Trump requested. Pelosi did not allow it.

Also, no one has every accused McCarthy of being a fighter. He merely acquiesced to Nancy Pelosi. And he attacked Trump for Jan 6 riots.
