Though it really isn't as though I owed my neighbor any explanation at all when I tell him that I am withdrawing from him the permission that I had previously extended him to stomp through MY LAND.

The Lithuanians are fully within their rights to deny foreign powers the privilege of transiting Lithuanian territory.

Kaliningrad is not landlocked - there is thus no question about Lithuania being obligated to permit (sanctioned) Russian cargo to transit sovereign Lithuanian territory.
