Crappy City police and county sheriff’s office, maybe? So why not have a crappy school district police department as well.
It actually makes a little sense where I live, as the school district encompasses parts of 3 cities and two smaller towns. While the city where I live is split among 3 or 4 school districts.
Lines in Texas do get messy at times, and the school district can have a bigger impact on your house value than does the city.
