The Green New Deal was never about cleaning up the air or anything else. It was always about redistribution of wealth from day one.
If they wanted to clean up the air in smog-filled cities they would use one or two as a test bed for going to EV’s then see what problems they ran into and if it would even work.
The point is economic warfare against the working class and middle class, and so far it is very successful.
