TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — A Florida judge said Thursday that he will temporarily block a 15-week ban on abortions in his state, but his bench ruling won’t take effect before the ban becomes law Friday — an issue that could cause confusion for patients as well as abortion providers.
Meanwhile, a Kentucky judge temporarily blocked that state’s near-total ban on abortions, allowing the procedures to resume after they were abruptly stopped when the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade last week.
The cases in Florida and Kentucky reflect battles being waged in courts across the country after the Supreme Court said abortion was no longer protected under the federal constitution. The high court left it up to states to decide whether abortion is legal within their borders — forcing attorneys on both sides of the debate to turn to their state constitutions.

The thing is this. Yes, democrat judges will do this in the states. But always look at what level the Court who renders the decision is. I don’t get excited when it is a trial level state court judge. When the Supreme Court of a State rules, then I will pay attention.
Bottom line, most of these local lefty judges will likely be overruled because most red state Supreme Courts are conservative.
Isn’t the correct way to handle this to dox the judges, protest outside their homes and threaten their families?
What the Legislatures of these states should do is repass the laws and in the law itself state that the judicial branch has no say in the matter. That is the Legislative branche’s perogative — to limit, if necessary what the Judicial branch can hear and rule on. With the corrupt political judges on the Left, that is what they should do.
I believe you meant RAT judges.
There's nothing the slightest bit "democratic" about these communist judicial activists.
Roberts could influence the other Justices to let the districts (and by extension, the states) what the "sense" of the Supreme Court is, and that they won't tolerate cases coming from the states that go against the SCOTUS rulings.
It's a whisper campaign, court style.

Each Supreme Court justice supervises a federal court circuit, not any state court; federal courts do not hear appeals from state courts.
The goal of all leftist and leftist judges is the eradication of the US Constitution, liberty, life, morality, God, and anyone who loves God and espouses justice and morality.
No one honestly believes the overturning of what was a grossly unlawful ruling to begin with, which resulted in 70 Million gruesomely murdered babies in America, and has high profit margins for baby body parts and experimentation, would simply go away...
With the DOJ, FBI, the Legislative and Executive Branches, and most of the Judicial Branch nationally on their side, they will play darts and ping pong with this ruling indefinitely.
As well, the SCOTUS did not at all outlaw abortion, or indicate it was wrong. They merely corrected the grossly unlawful legal process.
God is only holding back on full wrath and judgement for the horrific crimes already committed.
And for those who think this is an American only problem, your foolish and terribly uniformed. Well over a billion and a half babies have been aborted globally, with the historic kingpins of the last century being CCP/China, CCCP/RusFed/CIS, Germany, EU, and many countries involved...
Don’t have to be a godly nation to be a superpower or totalitarian. In fact, we would be a very rare exception in world history to be a superpower/empire, and simultaneously have strong roots in Christianity.
If God is just, holy, and merciful, He is going to need to act decisively and globally to stop humanity from murdering all of its children and itself.
