In general, these conferences make no sense to me anymore. Clearly, they're not regional entities.
Are you trying to say Oklahoma isn’t in the Southeast?…
If you are not in the Big 10 or SEC, you are minor league.
Eventually they’re going to have to come up with a new name for the Big 10.
I guess if you are USC & UCLA you can afford a huge travel budget

UCLA won one football national championship in 1954.
The last time USC won was in 2004.
What makes you think these schools are powerhouses?
None of us who watch the PAC-12 think so.
Since there's already 14 teams, with the addition of two more they could call it the Sweet 16......
Looking like just Big10 (which should ditch that name), and SEC going forward for big time college football. Totally wrecks what was left of the Rose Bowl matchup. Guess I shouldn’t be surprised, same consolidation has happened in every other American industry, why not college football? Not a fan, but so be it.
LOL- has Lincoln Riley been quoted on this yet?
The enlarged 14 perhaps?
I don’t care. Sportsball is dead to me.
Exactly- Oregon has been the “class” of that conference recently and Utah’s been better than any of those two schools in recent times.
UCLA has sucked and USC is not far behind
There are a lot of eyeballs and TV set in the LA area and that value will not longer belong to the PAC 12.
Super Leagues are coming, maybe 3 16 team leagues or 4 16 for 64. Those leagues will break off from the NCAA all together, have a Commissioner of those Super leagues, set their own scholarship limits, Transfer portal rules and yes go a minimum contracts for all players (pay for play) and these payments will come from the University, which will allow for paper trails for audits and taxing authorities.
NIL deals will be negotiated in the free market based on a players skill sets.
Basically, you will have the Semi-Pro Football League of Affiliated Universities.
If this move occurs, B10 would be valid in the hexadecimal system. ;-)
Betting is so prevalent and profitable now, shouldn’t the gamblers have a say? All the moving around of teams will affect the take. Crazy time in college sports with the gambling and the transfer portal. I think horse racing is now more above board than college athletics. I remember when Coach Prime and Jackson State would have raised eyebrows.
He’s too busy screwing OU....for $$$$$$
They see bigger financial opportunities being in the Big Ten, but this is the beginning of the mega super conferences being formed in Division I sports with the Big Ten and SEC being the top dogs. This is why I prefer following NCAA Division II, III and NAIA college teams. For them it’s still for love of their sport and national championships really mean something to them.
Big Hex 10 does have a ring to it.
