... and that power would not be in the hands of un-elected bureaucrats if our lazy, overweight, fat-assed congress-critters would stop writing bills that contain verbage like “... the governing agency shall make and enforce any and all regulations that in their judgement are necessary to ... blah, blah ...”.
A bill should state the purpose of a bill and the limits to the purview which the agency can establish.
And finally every bill should have a ‘sunset’ clause of not more than ten years or so.

They’ll ignore it - as they are other court decisions. The Rule of Law has been broken in this country and court rulings are becoming increasingly irrelevant. In this case, they cannot ignore it.
If they, the EPA, attempts to fine or prevent a business from emitting CO2, every single court the business goes before will slap the EPA down, citing this SCOTUS decision.
About the only thing they can do is send EPA SWAT teams and kill people. I wouldn't put it past them, but that would be my personal "Go Sign".

no they won’t. depends on the judgeGet a bad judge, appeal up a level. Once you get the inevitable slapdown, the EPA needs to start from Ground Zero again.

This has implications well beyond just the EPA, and to the foundations of the “Administrative State”, if regulators are now limited to what congressional law says, and anyone can file suit against regulators claiming that their regulation is nowhere authorized by statute.

I agree but that dame that doesn’t know what a woman is will be sworn in today and I hope the other 6 don’t let us down at some point. I’m glad to see this chipping away at government control.......I just hope if we give the Republicans control in November they will do their part in neutering this government and do damage control. By NOT voting McCarthy in as Speaker and getting rid of as many RINO’s as possible we may have a chance to get this country back. Just my two cents.
