Putin has said for years - long before this conflict - he longs for the Soviet Union and its disillusion was an awful moment in history. No media puppets needed. Putin has also eliminated Russia’s free press, freedom to evangelize, etc. He’s slowly but surely moved himself into being more like Stalin.

Longing for something is one thing, doing is another. I don’t believe for a moment he wishes to recreate the Communist Soviet Union. True-believing Communists do not behave or engage in domestic or foreign policy as he has. If he wanted such a system again, he would be in lock-step with the Globalist megalomaniac lunatics (Soros, Gates, Zuckerberg, et al) and they would be falling all over themselves to help him.

If he wishes to recreate anything without the Communist degeneracy and decay, it would be to try to piece together the old Russian Empire. That is not the same thing as the Soviet Union, a point for which too many FReeper warmongering fools cannot grasp or distinguish. He wants a strong nation and world player, I cannot begrudge him that. He does not want a warmongering bureaucracy like NATO breathing down his throat. NATO should’ve ceased to exist in 1991 with the Soviet fall. Why is it still around ? President Trump should’ve withdrawn us from it.

Ukraine, in my estimation, is a failed state. It was never an independent nation with “sacred borders”, as the globalist media lies about, at any point in the modern era. It was an integral part of the Russian Empire. It has been a corrupt and disastrous state for most of its brief existence, a nexus for corruption, for child sex trafficking, with a string of puppet leaders. Until the so-called Russian “invasion” (sic), the media was happy to point that out. But as soon as the globalists decided that losing their corrupt puppet state was unacceptable, they directed the media to portray Ukraine as fearless with fearless leaders and with “sacred borders” that the “world must defend.”

At this point, this is a civil war that is none of our business, for which we should have not one soldier involved and not one American dollar. The present “leader”, Zelensky, is clearly a genocidal lunatic, begging to the rest of the world to give him WW3 on the orders of Soros and the like. That was all any sane person needed to know about him and his goals. Not negotiating to prevent warfare, but WW3, and he’ll sacrifice his citizens to do it. Indeed, he should be hanged for his treason. But he has his nice Florida mansion for being an obedient puppet to the folks that have made Ukraine a center for the worst sorts of criminality.

Putin keeping Russia strong is a no-brainer, he serves as a bulwark between Red China and the morally corrupt and degenerate globalist Europe. Trying to remove him and replace him with some Euro-style eunuch squish will enable Red China to march clear across Asia into Europe. Keeping that balance of power and strength there at this time is absolutely imperative.

As an addendum to my post, it is ludicrous hyperbole to compare Putin to either Hitler or Stalin, globalist nonsense. Stalin was the second greatest mass-murderer after Mao in the modern era. Your claim that Putin is attempting to be him renders your arguments an “epic fail” on par with, or worse than, the infamous Godwin’s Law. When he starts murdering tens of millions of people, you get back to me.
