Do the lefties watching these hearings not notice that only one side gets to call witnesses? Is it lost on them that there is no one representing the accused? No opportunity for rebuttal or cross-examination? No opportunity to face one’s accuser?
I would think with all the public trials, all the courtroom reality TV shows, all the great legal drama films and TV shows like Perry Mason, that everyone would know there are supposed to be two sides represented.
But the lefties I know, who have apparently been glued to the TV for these hearings, seem to be totally fine with them being one-sided. Or perhaps they think Cheney being a Republican makes it bipartisan.
Or could it be that they know perfectly well these hearings are not fair, and that the January 6th allegations are bogus, and that the 2020 election was stolen. But they hate Trump and his supporters so much they are fine with us being treated unfairly, and happy to see us hounded and persecuted over nothing.
