You are correct. This tragic situation is exactly why the Democrat policy of luring people to the United States who pay thousands of dollars to smugglers only to get abused, or killed outright is despicable.
Immigration can be a good thing, but only if it is done under a legitimate, legal framework.

Interesting, I was in Williamsburg, Kentucky two weeks ago. Got to see a bus load of them, all men, 18-40 years old, on their way south to either someplace in Tennessee or Georgia. One bus. One truck stop. No telling how many more like that.
