I certainly could not blame anyone for not supporting the USA under Joe Biden. Support for a country that no longer is American and pro tyranny is not a place I support.

I typically only click on one’s that involve the US.
To be honest, I see the US and Israel relationship as largely unidirectional.

The Jewish Halakhic position on abortion isn’t exactly the same as that of the Catholic Church, but this has nothing to do with that. Israel has long had legal abortion, and many Orthodox rabbis (especially Charedim) have protested it just as long.

I think there are three things going on.
1. Sadly, we have plenty of pathetic liberals. Probably not as bad as the USA, but plenty. Tons of radical homos in Tel Aviv, for example. The liberals are firmly entrenched in the government and the courts. Former Soviet immigrants have really helped us move right. But the government and courts are glacial.
2. We have a parliamentary system, which Americans don’t really understand. But what happens is various fringe parties get in positions of power. In this story here, for example, some liberal twat got a means-nothing job running a health care panel. As in the USA, liberals in Israel abuse every position they are given and try to advance their liberal agenda from their position, whatever it is. A liberal dog catcher will kidnap your dog to get you to do something.
3. People who don’t understand parliamentary systems (or how liberals abuse any power they are given) -— and, yes, antisemitic asshats -— love to hold up these fringe idiots as official spokesmen for Israel and Jews everywhere.
No, they’re just liberal idiots who abused their power. And, are, unfortunately for the Jewish people, Jewish (at least nominally, probably not in observance of Judaism).
This is akin to arguing that AOC speaks for all gentiles.
