Yeah, Joe was far too stupid to put two and two together. If your adult son is burning through money like that, there are only a few reasons why: drugs, booze, gambling and whores.

That Joe didn't task tells us a lot. That he didn't leave a paper trail saying "Send Hunter $20,000 more for his sex and drugs addiction" suggests that maybe he's not as stupid as he lets on.
