Hard to say for sure but stories earlier this year seemed to indicate that DWAC has had some issues with other financial dealings and that there is no evidence that there was anything wrong with what they're doing with Trump Media.

It would be nice if our Republicans in office in this country would start standing up to this illegal persecution of a former President. All these agencies are “looking for a crime” just because they don’t like Trump. The left is starting to go after Trumps cabinet and supporters and yet I hear nothing much from our so called reps in DC. Washington DC is a corrupt place and anyone we send there seems to take no time at all to become corrupt.
